Hey guys I installed puddle light in both side mirrors and they work fine ..i wired it to my dome light.. and yes they work fine , but when i start the car and drive they stay on .. so I'm thinking I wired it wrong some how.. so plz if you know of how to fix the easy problem plz let me know

Run wires to my dome light and ground to my door .. when you unlock it . It lights up when you lock it .... it goes out with the dome light .. but when I drive it stays on .. light won't turn off

Can you be more specific on how you tapped into some light fixture. Remember there are at least two ways to activate dome lights.

The fixture may have switched ground, really need to look over a wiring diagram.
