You guys all fail. The accord GT-R is actually an import from Australia. Notable upgrades include four wheel drive, twin electronic turbos, boost gauges and a driving experience you will never forget...
OOOOH!!! I want one!!!

Where can I get those GT-R badges to make my i4 go faster?

Is it illegal to put those on an LX? Can you be prosecuted for false advertising?

>>> insert SARCASM smilie here <<<

:lmao:

From what I can tell via web searches, there is an Accord GT sold in Europe (at least there was a couple of years ago) - looking like the TSX in every way, as has been discussed earlier in this forum. But the badging on the Accord GT has no "GT" on it at all. The only 2 badges are the "Accord" on the passenger side trunk, and an "iCTDi" badge below the passenger side tail light, describing the engine type that this particular car has. So, there is an Accord GT, but it doesn't say it on the outside.

I vote for creative badging.

ps - here's a link to an interesting Honda-produced video (no words, just music) that shows what I'm talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kw68C6FYl4

It is illegal to put one of those badges on your car in the US. Although they add a tonne of HP, 4wd and the things I mentioned earlier, the car will fail its emissions test. Sorry!:dunno:

If someone made the GT-R badges with a magnetic backing you could just take them off for the emissions test. Or you could stick them on the inside of the engine bay if you want the extra HP but with a "sleeper" look!

OK ..OK I have been busted...Going out to car to remove the
Scuderia badge.....It was nice while it lasted...:paranoid: :naughty:

People need to do some research before they speak...
Awesome, thanks for the laugh:D... and feel really bad for those that didn't get it!

Here we go again... ;)

LMAO!!! :lmao: I don't know what's funnier the fact that we keep going with this or if the OP was actually serious about thinking an Accord GT-R actually exsists lol :paranoid:

Reminds me of this guy from my old job that had a 95 Mustang V-6, he had the Mustang Cobra emblems on the side (where they would normally be on a cobra mustang) and the GT-R emblem on the back, and to top it off some black and gray seat covers lol...I used to talk crap to him all the time seeing that I had a 97 Mustang GT at the time. We used to race all the time and of course I would smoke him...I would always be like "Damn I smoked your V-6 Cobra GT-R with seat covers :lmao:

The magnetic back for the badge would be how to do it! I really like the badge on the engine idea but then youd lose the AWD and possible boost guages but I'd have to talk to my local tuner shop about that one.

And scuderia? ahahaha. There is no such thing as a scuderia ferrari.
Do your own research.

I apologize for my ignorance- I was tired.

This was me when I saw this thread this afternoon

I meant Scuderia Accord. I was thinking Ferrari when I typed it. My bad!
I hope you do realize that poster was being cheeky (fictionally re-badging his Accord w/ the Scuderia emblem, being called'out, and then removing it), just like you were being humorous earlier & others assumed you were serious. Not sure I get the "do your own research" bit you added there (vs. stating that in your original post in the thread where it actually added some seriousness hence more comedy)...

Anywayz. . .

I apologize for my ignorance- I was tired.
It's all good, man.

Makes two of us, man... sighhh!

I know he was being sarcastic, and I was bringing up the reasearch bit from earlier.

Growing up in Europe I got familiar with all the hot EMD Hondas, but I guess the humor is a little different over here.

It's the interwebz... words w/o actual physical expressions can't always be correctly interpreted nor intentions on a 2-D screen be correctly inferred.

Now, if this was German car forum- humor would be dead! :naughty:

I may put Scuderia badge back now!!!!
