When you get the spare tire, make sure to periodically check the air pressure. A lot people forget about this especially since it’s hidden inside the trunk below the floor panel. No use in having a spare tire that when you need to actually use it, it’s low on air. In fact, this reminds me that I probably need to check mine.

mike,Thanx for the heads up!!!!!!!.Can I put them tire below the floor panel if it is a hybrid and the battery is down there?
The battery is under the rear seat. The spare fits just like any other Accord.

What tire width and speed rating are your spares?
the donuts can only be used up to 55 mph for just 50 - 70 miles. Some may have a "M" rating but that is just 81 mph.
What size tire maximum diameter would fit in the trunk? We don't have to use the Honda tool box, I can reinforce the floor if necessary and keep jack and wrench in a little tool bag.
What wheel diameter and width and bolt pattern fits?
What have you forum experts done already?

If anybody has fit a highway-worthy spare* in the 11th gen Accord trunk wheel-well, under the floor, please share the tire size along with speed rating. Thanks
*capable of sustained 85 mph for over 100 miles
why do you need to go 85mph for over 100 miles in the off chance that you have a flat tire and need to put on a spare? I mean you can build contingencies and backups for all kinds of situations, but why? You could make sure to get a summer slick racing tire too, with a 125mph rating, just in case when you have a flat and are heading back to home base, you pass by a local racetrack that is holding an amateur day where you then need to get out on the track and complete 10 laps at high speed before continuing on your way

The other option you could pursue is to hire a driver and have him follow you around in a Corvette or BMW or Ferrari, and thus if you ever get a flat tire, he will pull to the side of the road with you, and then you can jump in that second car and drive home at 120mph, while he waits for a tow truck to come tow your Accord.

This has gotten absurd. There are now 5 different threads with the same issue. Didn't think it would ever get worse than the three threads for passenger seat height.

Agreed - you can always tell when someone does a thread search and then for whatever reason feels the need to post the same question in each and every thread that ever covered the issue

Buy a much better jack on Amazon instead of the flimsy ones included in a "kit"

Scissor Jack for Car, 3 Ton with Spare Tire Changing Kit, Portable Tire Jack Repair Kit with Lug Wrench $56.99

I added better tools than the kit had, an 18 - 24" 1/2"Drive Extendable Ratchet, LED Road Flares Safety Flashing Warning Lights Kit (and a pack of AAA lithium 20 year batteries).

Don't want the Styrofoam Tool kit in my spare tire, I want to place the tools that I want into the center of the tire along with an LED Camping Lantern to light up not just the tire but also me and knee guards to protect them while I'm kneeling on an asphalt roadway.

recommendation for a spare tire on a 2025 hybrid sport touring. Nervous not having a spare. What are my options?
I had a spare tire kit and jack I purchased off ebay from a standard fusion for my 2015 Ford fusion hybrid that got totaled. My research says the standard accord uses the same bolt pattern. The temporary I think with the hybrid drivetrain only can go on the rear. So if the blow out is on the front I will have to change it twice. I am ok with that for the peace of mind to not be dependent on the glue pump. 🤣
