i have this strange problem, it really makin me mad.
My car is 2007 v6 Sedan
while driving i feel the car sliding out of control but the feeling is for millisecond. i have checked the tie rods with the dealer and everything in suspension seems fine, also the problem still continues after alignment.
i feel like the tyres moving or sliding at 80mph+ speed
several mechanics have driven my car but they find no problem & tells me everything is perfect but i cant feel the exact grip over the car.
it is kind of Hydroplaning i m facing but on dry road.

FYI my new steering and rack pinion seal kit was installed 3 months back but it was perfect that time, later i put 4 new CS4 tyres with warranty but 1 tyre bursted, rear left after a month, so i was pissed with the cooper guys and i put 1 good year tyre in place of bursted tyre
now i have two cooper in front and 1 cooper rear left & 1 Good year rear Right
what i need to know is, is it due to different tread wear of tyre or what
i feel like losing confidence while driving as before the car was perfect even at 120mph now i cant feel like drivin above 100 & still confuse while drivin as i feel it hydroplaning
any body has any suggestion or experience in this case

How is your air pressure? Also take a look to see if that good year tire says INSIDE or OUTSIDE on the sidewall. Also, check to see if it says DIRECTIONAL or ROTATIONAL on the side. Ive seen it before where tire shops will mount tires on the rim the wrong way. It would definately be better to have both rears the same. Maybe check tire rack to see if you can get the same cooper, and save the goodyear as a full size spare. Hopefully your issue gets resolved soon. Do you get that uneasy feeling at 70mph?

i realize the driving laws are different in saudi arabia but going 120mph isn't safe...

Everything is perfect except the tire tread, what i will do in next days is to change the rear cooper and make both rear tires goodyear & then will update the situation

i even drove it at 145mph but my concern is whatever the speed is the car should perform perfectly, thanks for the concern anyways

where are you driving at these speeds

If you are going to be driving 145mph, you need to have not good, but GREAT tires. Certainly not mix and match. I didn't think these cars top speed was that high, but whatever. I hope these tires are not H or T speed rated, which could be your problem. They would have to be V or higher I believe.

i think he means Km/h which would be about 75-80MPH which is probably normal for most of us... and how are your wheel bearing?

The car will not perform the same at all speed ranges. Not unless it was fresh off the lot and even then I'd doubt it. Every single imperfection, be it suspension, tires, heck even aerodynamic will be enhanced the faster you travel. Your car might feel smooth as heck at 70 MPH and rough at 140 mph. I'm not a fan of speed, not even if you were on the Autobahn. One of your tires bursts at 140Mph and nothing will save you.

He did type mph, but from what I've read these cars are limited to about 135mph. Who knows if they limit them in Saudi Arabia or not though.

buddy the car goes to 140/148mph max and it is unlocked imported from states i dont know how but since i got it, it goes to this speed. i will upload pic as well as GPS speed for you and this was back when i had yokohama tyres, the issue is currently with cooper tyres and i also drove a s500 2002 @ full speed of 255km/h
