Hope you have a ton of money, otherwise, you bought the wrong car.

So I see people speculate that the comptech supercharger for the 3.2L TL would work with little modification. But has anyone put this theory to the test, or have any knowledge over the subject? I am super interested, but of course don't want to be a guinea pig. Any and all advice would be appreciated!

What supercharger does this new model have? Would it be possible to obtain for a 2008 model with minor mods?
If you have 5 grand aside you can find out.

3.2 tl comptech supercharger on a 3.5 accord coupe?

I'm trying my hardest to find a supercharger for my 3.5L accord coupe, and the comptech tl supercharger is the only real answer I've come across. People have speculated saying it could work after a few simple mods done, but I havent heard of anyone actually doing it. So advice is welcomed, please steer me in the right direction!

Sell the car and buy something with more power.

Not only is the cost of the supercharger and tuning going to be very high (assuming such things are actually available and I don't believe they are), the cost of new Honda transmissions is going to be very expensive. I doubt Accord transmissions are going to be able to handle the increase in power.

Much as I think the Accord coupe is a cool car, I think these guys are right. Maybe something like a 370Z or Camaro SS would serve you better. A Camaro would give you a back seat and 420 horsepower bone stock.

If you have the money then you can do anything you want! why supercharge it when you can turbo it?

That supercharger has major heat soaking issues. Unless you are willing to spend money on tuning and meth injection, which I doubt, you might as well go with a turbo set up. If you are auto, don't even bother with force induction. Your tranny will be toast before you can even run out of gas.

Yes a back seat that you could easily fit a poodle or your cat into? :D have fun trying to sit in the back of a camaro:stupid: great car though.

I have a supercharged 04' Mustang with 440 wheel. I'm willing to bet I built my Mustang for less than it would take to mod a V-6 coupe with much less horsepower. Too much R&D would be needed. That costs $$$. Use your Accord like I use mine... for a DD.

Which turbo setup is suggested?
:headbash:

There IS NOT a "SETUP, KIT, ETC" nobody makes it... So YOU make your own kit, alongwith standalone ECU and custom made trans suspension misc stuff to handle it.

Me personally I like to go big, so for a setup I would recommend the Precision Turbo PT118. Its good for 2800 HP so it may require some minor modifications to your curret setup. :lmao:

You own the worng car for bolt on high HP kits. There is not a market for a bolt on turbo setup like there is for say a corvette. Just like there is no bolt on Twin Turbo kit for a chrysler town and country minivan, or a vortech supercharger kit for a toyota echo... NO MARKET FOR IT.. Concurrently there is no "KIT" to add a roof rack and Luggage to the roof of a Corvette or a 911 turbo.

While there may not be a "market" for it and OP will have to figure quite a few things out to possibly make it work, why should that stop the OP from creating what could possibly be the 1st supercharged 8th gen? Maybe the OP is bored, has $$$, and wants a challenge.

Instead of trying is dissuade the OP, maybe we can offer some help. Personally, I'd like to see a supercharged 8th gen. It would be neat to see.
