I finally bit the bullet and trade in my 07' Accord today for a '10 Acura Tl w/ tech today. I bought it late this evening so I pretty much just drove it home and parked it. All I can say is that the OEM 17" wheels are hideous . I found a spot on line that sells OEM wheels fairly cheap so hopefully I can upgrade to the 18's.
I guess I can say thanks to Toyota for their missteps. I never thought that I would be able to afford the car, but there are great deals out there right now on all makes. An for anyone who hasn't heard of Truecar.com check it out. It made the purchasing the vehicle effortless. I got approximately 6k off MSRP without even doing any negotiating .
Anyway, I will still be hanging around. I am not going anywhere. I have learned more stuff in here that goes beyond Accords or cars . Hope to have pics soon.

congratz man hope u enjoy the new car an put pics soon i want to see it xD

The MSRP was 39.8k and I got it for 33.6k This was the p I pretty sure some of you might have gotten them to go lower. That was the online quote before I even went to the dealership. All the others quoted me over 36k. Plus I got 60 months financing at 0.9%. Once again thanks Toyota.

Now you have to change your sig, paint the grill, and change the tires. :D
I forgot all about my sig. I have had Accords for so long I don't think I want to change it. Besides the TL has Accord roots. Like I said I found a site that sells OEM wheels at a fairly decent price. As of today keeping the factory loook is important to me. That might change tomorrow:dunno:. As for the grill, it is growing on me.

UGH @ those plastic "first state" front plates.

Other than that, nice car! The new TLs are beginning to grow on me as well. I never thought I would say that.

Nice acquisition! Seems like you got ~16% off MSRP, not bad at all.

I assume you got the '10 TL Tech. 5-spd. A.T.?

And yes, those 17" things look puny! Even their offset, w/ regards to the muscular/flared fenders.

I'd rock the OEM-accessory HFP 19" on a new TL, if I owned one... :D

Here's a 2-minute MS_Paint "photo'chop":

Actually the plate is not plastic. It's metal of some type.I got it because I did not know what else to get. It might be coming off soon though. I found out on an Acura forum that the dealer will usually give you the plugs for the plate bracket holes if you ask for them. I emailed the dealer yesterday and they said that they would try to get them to me. I am in Delaware and I bought the car in Maryland. It is a Maryland law to have license plate holders in the front.

As for the wheels, I was planning on going with the 18's. Finishlinewheels.com had them for $828 shipped for all four. They have the 19's but they are more than I want to spend. I have always kept the original wheels on a car until I bought this one.

Congrats on the new car. Your right about the rims the upgraded rims are so much better and shiny =P
