Hi,
When I look into my owner's manual I see some remarks that sound like "only in Canadian models".
Things like daytime-running-lights, much bigger washer fluid bottle with a sensor, etc.

You might conclude the Canadian model is a better equipped version of the US model.

I there anything in the US model that Canadian model is lacking?

Aside of accessories, how about engine/powertrain differences - are there any?

Thanks,
Pszemol

Is there *any* single feature which is in US version but not in Canadian?
Yes, there is one, the speedometer dial with large MPH numbers rather than KPH numbers.

:D

DRL are mandatory in Canada, dont have em cant drive it. Dunno why they wouldnt put it in in the states though. But check out the price difference from the US to Canada, consider yourself lucky!

Yeah I second that. Even with the deep discounts offered at the beginning of this year, Americans still are better off price wise.

... other difference, temperature (both outside and air-cond.) show in Celsius. I don't think the navi version of the 7th generation made it to Canada to have the Canadian navi DVD. Also, owners manual comes in French too (like it makes a difference hi hi hi hi).

Biggest difference is the price!!! And of course the price for replacement parts and for service! :thumbsdow

I believe Celsius/Fahrenheit is a configurable setting, but I would have to look for it in the manual again to be sure.

Canadian pays more because we get a larger washer fluid tank, metric odometer & Celsius temperature control. XD
BTW - anybody knows what is the part number for the canadian version washer fluid bottle? Or the sending unit in the bottle?
It would be a good idea to replace this in my US accord before the winter in Chicago. Original US bottle is pathetically small and I often run out of windshield defroster fluid when I most need it because streets are full of brown salty sloshy mud :thumbsdow :thumbsdow

Following my logic (i.e. looking at parts sites) I only see 1 part number for the washer fluid tank so doubt that in Canada we get a bigger one: 76840-SDA-A11. I'll check with my dealer's computer to see if it is the same number.
According to the 2007 Owner's Manual (P268).
windshield washer reservoir
US 2.6 US qt
Canada 4.8 US qt

Correct! Exactly the same numbers are in my 2004 Coupe Owner's Manual.

If I had to guess, it should be enough room behind the fender to hide a bigger bottle, so it would be quite realistic to replace US bottle with Canadian one. It would be an improvement even in case the sensor could not be used due to some missing wiring...

I want this bigger, Canadian bottle! Who's with me? :)

I have found the part number you were talking about in online store:

Part Number Description List Price Our Price Core Deposit
76840-SDA-A11 TANK SET, WASHER 68.80 50.36 0.00

From the picture available on their website it looks to me it is US model bottle. I cannot judge the size properly without any reference, but it does not look like it has the sending unit attached...

i might be able to pick one up at honda here for you and send it out
That would be great, Griffy86! Is there a way to check for sure what is the part # for the Canadian model, bigger bottle?

Thanks!
