There's one on there, brand new, OEM, Honda, Graphite Pearl, for very cheap shipped. $70.

I'm tempted. I could probably install it myself, too.

Can you normally find them this price or is this one of those rare finds?

I would get it. They normally go pretty cheap on eBay since they are 2 gens old. People just want to get rid of them. It's factory so the paint matches.

Very easy to install if you don't mind drilling holes in your trunk. I prefer to have to holes over just the tape.

When I installed mine it was winter time and I drove from NY to FL the same day so some of my tape is coming up. Not worried about it since the spoiler is also bolted on.

It's not much, but I've been trying to save my money on other things. After having two accidents in one month I'm just a bit nervous about all that.

And I contemplated about putting it on here. Figured it'll go quick either way.

And I just saw he has a wing spoiler for $40 more. I don't think that's for me though.

i bought my sedan decklid spoiler for like $60. OEM. with all hardware. awhile ago tho..

Don't you need to upgrade the trunk hinges too, or are these pretty light?

It includes the hinges but I think I read that the deck lid is so light they're not really needed.

I'll probably wait a while to install it. There's a spot on my trunk that either has clearcoat that needs to be buffed out or possibly repainted. If I can buff it out that'll be great. The rest of the paint looks great, except this spot, so I may have that part repainted later on.

It looks like a bird bombed it and the previous owner didn't bother cleaning it off fast enough.

lucky they have your color, apparently NONE of those sellers have the Alabaster Silver Metallic version. i've been looking for at least 6 months now.

but no thats not a rare find. ive seen those sellers, spoilers, and their prices be within that range. Anywhere from $55 to $85 shipped.

Theres a seller that has an ABS plastic one that they can paint in alabaster silver for like 110ish shipped? They give it a nice warranty too, something about prevention from coat damages for like 3 years.

heres the link; it's not as cheap as we would like, but buying OEM and repainting would cost roughly the same or more in the end. Though idk how well the ABS would hold up.

That said, I'm still trying to find the JDM Inspire spoiler for the 2006-2007 models. :(

You will definitely need the new springs. I think even a pound will have an effect on the trunk staying up.

I've got the smaller spoiler on mine, with the stronger springs, and it's still not enough. The trunk won't stay open if a light breeze catches it. I've been cracked twice in the noggin by the latch when it came crashing down. It'll make ya see stars. Just a word to the wise...

And I'm pretty sure that I have the springs installed correctly. Checked at the dealer and was told that is just the way it is with those. Not whining, just putting it out there.

Right, I was actually looking for a replacement bumper since mine's a little damaged. I'd really rather have that repaired than having this spoiler. That's one of the only major issue with my car. :thumbsdow

I just took mine off. Bird bomb and total clearcoat failure. I did not have the heavier springs, and it stayed open just fine. It needed to be gently closed though or it would really slam shut.

I went to get it repainted and clearcoated and was told $75. I didn't think that was too bad, so I took it off the car and actually liked it better with it off. I went to lowes and bought $3 worth of hole plugs and now I can use a trunk mounted bike rack. Saved $75 on the repaint and $400 on a roof mounted bike carrier. The black plugs don't really stick out on Graphite Pearl.

How bout a pic or two? Trying to see where you have these plugs and why that has anything to do with a bike rack.

I went with a replica spoiler, and a very happy with it. That said, I would not have turned down an Oem one. Mine did not come with springs, and while the trunk doesn't pop halfway up on its own when I pull the trunk release, it stays open just fine, no issues whatsoever. If I came across a replacement spring, I'd put it in... But not necessary.

Did you pull the trigger on this spoiler? You have now let the cat out of the bag to the mot captive audience that there is.
