Damn....that didnt take long....

that would look sexy on any color accord but i have black =/ i dont think that would look too good what do you guys think black car w/ carbon fiber?

think CF looks lame one way or the other, prefer the low key instead of the look at me approach, but to each his own
on black i think it would look best as it wouldnt be such a drastic contrast

that would look sick with the white. But $566? Isn't that a bit much, even for a non carbon fibre?

lol not bad.. Just let me get my bottle of NOS and were off to the races

juzta,
if you car is black it would be ok, and if you don't like the CF pattern paint it.

RICE. :thumbsdow
+1. Honestly, the carbon fiber pieces do not save enough weight to be worth the cost on a freaking HONDA ACCORD...unless you're making a purely focused race car for the track...but if that were the case we wouldn't be driving HONDA ACCORDS.

Carbon fiber hoods, trunks, etc. etc. on these commuter-type cars are ridiculous and pure rice.

egh im not liking it too much on that rsx but might just be because its a picture, and yeah its a given it might be rice on SOME cars but not all look rice for example the BMW M6 which is a $100,000 luxury car not a "full out race car w/ weight reduction" comes from factory with a CF roof..

...I like carbon fiber hoods. Another former-RSX driver here.

I don't think it goes well on the accord by itself. U would have to rice it out kinda to make it work. I'd rather get it for function and paint it, but its a shame because they treat it so it's ready to bolt on. They should sell them untreated so you can paint it yourself. At any rate, how much weight does it cut, 20-30 lbs? Not like its taking the weight off the driveline or anything anyway.

Ok an M6...it can be taken to a track. Taking weight from the roof makes sense as it lowers the center of gravity significantly. It's also a $100,000 sport luxury car.

FWD Accord coupes are not meant to be taken to the track, but maybe for some mad tyte e-brake drifting in the snow/ice. *sarcasm* (in case you didn't catch it).

I'm still taken aback though by how you basically just compared an M6 to an Accord coupe. :lmao:

to pull of a cf hood the right way IMO you have to paint the outer sections of the hood the color of the rest of the car and leave the CF in the middle section of the hood exposed.....
