Aside from the obvious wipe down with a rag does anyone have any secrets from keeping your dash dust free, or a nice little tool they use that wipes it down well.

my dad used to have one of those california dusters but I think that's more for exterior

somewhat related, ive heard amoral is BADDD to rub your dash etc. with....if this si true what SHOULD i be using instead?

DO NOT use armorall!!!!! It will change the color of our plastic interior (based on actual experience of one of DA member).

What I do is I use a vaccum with brush attachment to first get rid of most of the visible dirt/dust between gaps. Then I use moist (not wet) microfiber towels (you can get a bag of it from costco) and just wipe down the entire interior (except the leather). Microfiber doesn't scratch or leave any streaks. It works really well.

I actually use Meguiars Interior detail wipes... not greasy at all like armor all, but it removes the dust and leaves a subtle sheen.

Interior Care

I use Turtle Wax Ice Total Interior Care (spray bottle). Read product before you judge. This product is easy to use and is carried at many stores.

I use Armorall Cleaning wipes then the original Protectant wipes. I like the shine it gives the components of the car. We'll have to see about changing colors. I don't use it on buttons metal trim etc.

I use the same thing an so far the dash looks awesome.
It has a nice glow and feel.
I dont use it to clean the wood dash or the buttons either.
However what should be used to clean the wood dash?
ive been using the Pledge multisurface cleaner along with a microfiber towels.
are there better alternatives?

They sell the interior California Duster at Target. So far so good

the 303 Aersospace once every 6 months or so. It keeps the dust from clinging to the surface too much. Swiffer duster once every couple days. My friends always give the o_O look whenever I pulled out the Swiffer from glove compartment lol

full detail every 3 months, wash every 2 weeks or so, make sure cabin air filter is clean, also i carry 2 microfibers in glovebox. wipe her down if she gets dusty. also wash microfiber every month

A stout compressor with an air nozzle works well to start things off. Works on customer's cars that are really cruddy.

I'm surprised more people don't advocate this.
Use the compressor after a basic cleaning for all the cracks and crevices. Works great. Then wipe down again and finish with 303.
