The serpentine belt doesn't have a replacement interval. Just replace it when it needs to be replaced.

Nothing happens if it breaks while you're driving. You just have to coast off to the side of the road.

Well I have to tell the story of a family members 2006 Honda V6 Accord that had the serpentine belt break and it got wrapped around the crankshaft pulley then ripped into the lower timing belt cover which broke the timing belt and caused valve damage in both engine heads. Dealership never heard of this ever happening.

Said story is not entirely uncommon. Was more common on the early-2000s J series engines, particularly the second gen Odyssey, but can happen to the newer ones too.

With that said, I doubt this would be an issue for a K series.

I just got my 2.0L Accord serviced on Thu. Now it's done 8000km since the last service in Oct 2023 and back then Honda clearly inspected it. This time, as the car is 204000km I just asked them to "check" and I was told - yes it needs to be repalced as it's wearing.
Visually, it still looks the same to me. And of course I received a quote for the idler pully and tensioner.
Can I replace just the belt ?

I plan on doing < 5000km with this car over the next 18 months and want to push this out until the next service.
I read that when the pully / tensioner needs replacement, there is a noise/ squealing none of which I've heard.
Does the belt give any audible noise when it must be replaced, like now !
