Hey guys,
Hoping for some help in determining the difference between these 2 isimple devices besides price? I know that the one from best buy includes installation but is there any difference in features or functionality? I can't find the one that best buy offers (ISIM73) anywhere including the isimple site.

Okay well I finally found a number for isimple and gave them a call. The only difference between the 2 is that the ISIM 73 is the part # for Best Buy stores. Absolutely no difference in product at all. So that said, do yourself a favor and save a few bucks and buy the ISIM 73 on line for anywhere from $29 - $45.

There are several ISIM 73's on EBay for $34.99 or less with free shipping!

I have one it works well. Works with itouch 1gen and 4th gen. It does lag during initial start up. But it works well. I have more then one playlist, so that was a big win for me.

So the only difference is the custom part number stamped by bb? Updating the firmware would require downloading ishd571 software? Is it compatible with ios5? I thought the module would vary depending on if you have xm or traffic. Anyone have this with nav+xm but no traffic?
