Got a wheelskin leather cover for our two cars. Both are Euro Perforated models, black perforated sides and sand non-perforated top and bottom. I installed it into wife's Accord only today.
Looked arround for the best price and - it ended up being Ebay. Bought it there for $24.94 + $9.50 shipping + $6 for Euro Perf model. As I combined shipping (as I bought two) my total was just over $71 for two, shipped. Very fast shipping, excellent product, genuine Wheelskins stuff.
Here's how it looks like installed:
Tips on installation:
- It's not very hard to install, just takes time. Mind you, I never did sewing of any sort really but could do this.
- If you have thin leather gloves - wear them during installation. You want the cover to be tight, so you have to tighten it. Gloves will help with that.
- The waxed thread that you get can take a lot of tightening, just tighten the thing! But be patient; until you figure it out, you will make mistakes, some you can undo, some you'll be too lazy to
- If you are buying two tone - start threading at the darker toned part, not the lighter as I did. That's because when you finish, you need to tie beginning and the end together, and if you do it at darker part - the knot will be less visible (on the photo - that is the "inperfection" that you can see right between two lower spokes)
Tomorrow I'll get it on the other car. Oh yeah - I LOVE the feel of it and I love that it's a bit thicker!
