I was in Menards yesterday and just happened to look at their wiper blade selection. They carry Trico Flex which is the first brand and model I've seen with the attach point beside the blade as one configuration. When I got home I went to the Trico website. They have a few more models that can attach like that. Just an FYI.

I thought the original Honda wiper blades were really good. You can go to the dealership and buy the rubber inserts for $16 (for the pair), and it makes your wipers as good as new. Where I am, the Trico blades are upwards of $40 for the pair.

I like the Michelin stealth and the Valvoline Aqua blades. I've had great luck with both but since my Accord has the option of just buying the refills for way less, that will be my first choice.

Ironically I had my wife go to O'Reillys to get inserts for her Pilot Thursday night and she came home with these. I applied rainx on the windshield and yesterday morning she said how well she could see. Granted, it doesn't rain much in the desert and I have put it off one too many times. Well worth the money since the wife is happy.

I feel the opposite..They were mediocre from the start....The driver's side blade leaves an unwiped 'arc' under the blade at the bottom. It's like the bottom 3" doesn't conform to the windshield. Also the driver's blade has had a nick in it from the get go that leaves a small stripe throughout it's entire range at eye level.
I felt there were cheap and I'm letting them go until they are a year old..They work, but they work poorly.

Just replaced mine with the Honda ones. My dealer replaces my wiper blades with every service for free. They and the original pair have been excellent. Of course we have been suffering from a historic draught in North Texas in the past couple of years and have not used them much.

That sucks - I know your frustration about a line on the window. I don't know how old your car is, but have you tried asking for a replacement?

I have only noticed the problem in the bottom left corner of the window in the winter when I spray the window. I think the problem is the washer fluid spray doesn't fan open far enough so the wiper is always wiping a dry spot in that corner.

I figured it was a wear item...and as to the bold part there, I SPRAY alot...it gets down there, blade doesnt conform well...

I have used Bosch Icon, Michelin, and Rain-X and all work great. I hardly ever buy a stock blade from a dealer. As an FYI: I use rain-X washer fluid so treating the windshield with liquid Rain-X like I did 20 years ago is no longer needed for me.

I use the rain-x windshield washer fluid for both extreme seasons... for the Winter, works great to clear sludge, and mild ice/frost. Also find it easier to scrape when there is ice on it. For the summer, works great to remove bugs, etc...

still on original wiper blades, on past vehicles, I have used Michelin Stealth blades, which I get at Costco here for $10 a blade. Have also used Rain-x blades when TSC puts them on sale for half price... both work great, but I have no complaints thus far with the factory ones.. And I HATE a dirty windshield, I go through tons of Rain-x fluid through the winter, commuting on the highway!

They did not work well on my 2006 Accord--don't make full contact on the driver's side and are a bitch to remove, unlike the previous Michelin ones I had that were great. Passenger side seems to work okay....so far

Anybody have a trick to remove them easily, please post it cause I don't want to break this garbage in order to take it back to Costco for a refund?

Which dealer do you go to, I go to rusty Wallace over here in Garland and I never received a free pair of wiper blades. Maybe I need to change dealers when I get my next service.

The factory blades on my Pilot were pretty bad. I've had good luck with Rain-X Latitudes. Bit pricey but worth it; had one set go 5 years. Periodically wetting a rag with some glass cleaner and wiping the blades helps increase their longevity.

So interesting that people have had such polar opposite experiences with the factory blades. On my coupe, I ran the original factory blades to 40k miles with plenty of use (I'm in Georgia if that matters), and only then did they start streaking. I replaced them with the factory blade inserts for $12 total and once again, I'm having a fantastic experience with them.

The current blades on our 2016 work great. 7 months, 6K on the Odo. Car is garaged so this helps keep the rubber bits out of the UV light. No issues, clean them off with a wet paper towel when I get gas. Grab the blade with towel, squeeze and pull. Gets the gunk off nicely.

On our CRV and Pilot, I switched to SILBlades. The ones on the Pilot are almost 6yrs old and no streaks, run them year round. The ones on the CRV lasted 5yrs till our new driver tore one with an ice scraper this winter. Your looking at around 20 per blade, but at 6yrs, I can't complain on the lifespan. They are pure silicone so they hold up better than rubber. They also have a side mount option for Japanese cars. Use the same cleaning method as the rubber ones.

If our dealer offers free inserts, then I will stick with factory. If I have to drop coin, I will put on SILBlades.
