building the k24 in the accord to make big power costs money, and the people who drive these are either teens (who don’t have money) or people with families or whatever that have better things to spend their money on than trying to make a boring midsize car fast.

if you want to know what parts work and how to build the motor for power, look at tsx/rsx/civic builds, not here.

You aren't going to hit 500 easily without doing serious boost and a built block + head on the K engine. J37A4 engine gets you to 305HP right away automatically then a Gerzy Bear Performance Rotrex supercharger will get you to near 500. You need to start at clubrsx.com if you want 500 to 700 on the Accord's K engine. Lots of RSX type-S guys there hitting that.

my last one made ~450whp and went from no boost at 3k to 35psi at 4k, trying to keep it from torque steering across the highway was a good workout

The problem with young guys coming in here wanting to quadruple the engine power on a N/A engine is that.....It's good to have ambition, but it involves a lot of money to get to that level of power, without a turbo. I remember "Denver" and "Strath", who disappeared after a month, wanting to do the same thing. It is way easier with a factory turbo-ed engine like the newer Civic and Accord, or even move to a Subi

I have always wanted to see someone take the engine and transmission from an RDX 2.3 turbo and put it in an Accord with a tune on it. It is much easier to deal with than starting from the beginning. That should be good for about 300hp with no trouble.
