I'm averaging 26 MPG over 5,500 miles so far. Not too shabby.

i have 2400 miles on the odo and i'm averaging a dismal 19mpg 60/40 city/highway on a v6 coupe AT

26.5 with 3,000 miles

21.8 avg (100% city) over 1,500 miles (since new, as measured on 'trip A') on my 6MT, and NOT watching my mileage. Pretty good in my book.
He said 09' fool. :thumbsdow

Nah I'm just busting your balls. 22 MPG is great mpg btw. I'm just got 14 MPG 90% city :dunno::thumbsdow

BTW OP, there are so many MPG threads already. You should search before you post another one of these type of threads.

23-24mpg @ ~3k miles.

19-22, @ 1080 miles.
about the same. Got 21.1 on my last 11 gallons of gas. Was pretty much primarily city driving, and I probably straight up wasted a couple gallons just from punching it a few times since I'm past the break in period @ about 1100 miles.

Coming from a 3.8L 02' Impala where I got 20 mpg avg and didnt enjoy driving it, while babying the gas, I love the car. Although I'm definitely not trying to get good gas milage, I still think it's good.

I just love V6 owners who complain about the gas mpg AND NOT the horsepower (b/c they like the horsepower), and the I4 owners who complain about the gas mpg AND the horsepower because they try to drive it like a V6 b/c they want more power! :lmao::lmao:

It's kinda like people who buy Escalades and couldn't afford to fill them up when gas was $4/gal because they already can't afford to pee in a bucket behind their house... then complain b/c their gigantic rediculous obnoxious absurdly overkill SUV that they'll NEVER EVER take off the road and drive around town on 24's with NOBODY in the car, guzzles gas like koolaid....

I wonder if anyone can guess what I think of SUV's that have no purpose other than wasting gas. I personally wish that there was some way to charge SUV drivers more for a gallon of gas unless they needed the SUV to pull a boat or something. Same for truck drivers.

It almost irritates me as much as Al Gore promoting environmental friendliness and global warming prevention initiatives, then using 12x more electricity per year than the average american household in his one Nashville home..

There is a gas guzzler tax, pretty close to what you are talking about.

Gas guzzler tax can be on 8cyl cars as well just like the s550 or the clk500 or 63 its the mpg they get while the EPA gets on highway.

But the vette doesnt cause they get better mpg. so the guzzler tax is a joke they pay for it anyway. imo

17.3 I drive mostly in hilly suburban areas during the week but i also have a heavy foot:biggrin:
