According to the CHH diagram, 18 looks to be the seal of the driver's door jamb; 15 is the seal of the front passenger door jamb.

The rubber seal on my driver's door jamb was ripped along the bottom, so I had my dealership replace that seal. Note it is NOT the rubber seal on the door itself, but on the door jamb.

Is anyone else having problems with their door weatherstrip shrinking and pulling away from the frame, like this:

I've tried stretching/repositioning the seal, so it looks more like it's supposed to (see below), but it keeps slipping out of place. Bother driver and passenger side are doing this about the same amount.

I think this misalignment is where some of my wind noise is coming from. Is there any fix other than replacing this rubber seal? I've thought about cutting the seal at the bottom, under the trim plate so I can get it aligned everywhere else, but I'm not sure if that would make it better or worse.

Try this... Fold some cardboard to protect the rubber then use pliers and squeeze the loose areas. Not too hard. I believe there are metal spring clips inside and squeezing them should improve their grip. This is all theory, so if it doesnt' work, you didn't hear it from me. :D

Is it leaking? My driver rear door is like that (visible gap 1/2"+), but it doesn't leak water so I don't worry about it.

No, it isn't leaking water that I know of. But I live in Phoenix, so I don't get a whole lot of rain to test it.

Like I said, the main reason I'm bringing this up is because I think this is contributing to the wind noise I am getting. And if replacing these seals would significantly reduce the noise, I'd probably break down and replace these $50 seals.

Yes, both sides. But not leaking.
I think it is contributing to the wind noise as well.
I thought about making a jig or fixture matching the shape, then using some sort of construction adhesive like Liquid Nails, then clamping it in place while the glue cures. But I would also need to remove all the trim and take up all the slack and move it to the gap.
