I have a i4 2010 manual im slowing starting to mod it. I want to get a full catback next but i cant find many that are instock other then magnaflows or takeda, but ive heard they arent as good since theyre the same as stock piping. Waiting for the megan racing dual exhaust. Also planning on installing a rv6 pcd with k tuner. Wondering if you guys had any other exhaust suggestions or suggestions in general. Planning on doing all installation myself other then tuning.

I was going to start by measuring the size of the resonator and mufflers, fully. I don't want a loud car. So the resonator stays.

I was thinking that if "Engine Masters" dyno proved, that 2.5in was good enough for 300HP+ type engines, that our 2.5in (I'm assuming the size), this should be good enough, for our 300HP (highest possible/ but unlikely, for our 270HP engine).

This means that its all up to the mufflers. I like ether Magneflow, Flowmaster, or others, that have been proven to have no/ minimal back pressure, and aren't just toilet noise makers. I use what, "Engine Masters" has dyno proven. It has to be made of SS, like our whole exhaust system is.

That's my thought on the situation...

Build your own.
hi so what do you think of this 18" vibrant resonator with the greddy muffler.

OP, did you do this yet?

I am getting quotes on an exhaust now and I am planning on going full custom (I pick the resonator and muffler but a pro does he bends and welds specific to my car. No kit) but cannot find anything. Every video see with vibrant, magnaflow, greddy, and yonaka it is not what Im looking for looks or sound. No offense to the youtubers but they all sound like buzzing cans. There is only 1 video that has a 4 cylinder that sounds anywhere near what I want and its a subaru and that engine design produces a deeper sound without an aftermarket exhaust.

Ive got the 4 cylinder so it will never be fast. I dont want it to be fast or loud. My goal is "somewhat quiet and better than it used to be". No flashy mods. Preferably only one 2.5" pipe. Normal size exit similar to stock. Not a gaping, buzzing hole. All painted black. I am open to any gains that can be had without an increase in sound. With the i4, its probably impossible to get a sound that doesnt sound like a buzz can, but I will pay (probably more than I should) to get something that works for me so I've been all through my state describing what I want and listening in person to no avail. I'm open to driving a few state over.

Hey man no I havent installed yet, I had to swap my engine. Planning on getting it all welded once I get to the car back. Once its done I'll post a sound update video. But yeah it's hard to find good exhaust set ups for our accord. Still good luck on finding what youre looking for.

Because its an i4, so its not going to sound good. that's why no one bothers making them.
