Hello everyone, got myself in a hole after removing rear bench seat to fix a trunk cable. Now I cannot seem to fit the clips in the holes. I will attach pics for reference. Are my clips broken or I need try harder to align them?

Also it doesn’t help the seat natural curvature is now bent and does not want to line up. I am also at the point of saying forget it, no one rides back there really anyway lol.

thanks in advance

First thing - did you get the bolt fastened back in that goes thru the metal loop in the back of the seat and bolts below the upper backrest part of the seat?

Next - the spring clip on your seat clip is pulled out of position. Here's what it should look like.

Notice the spring clip goes around that raised tab. That's what pulls the seat clip back closed which will lock the bottom of the seat to the bottom of the car.

Hopefully this helps you

Wasn't for this particular application but I have bought other clips from that brand and they worked well.
