Yeah! Like literally, 10min just to place them and plug them in. I'm even ashamed it took that long lol but I was being careful so not to rupture anything behind the center console. Had everything wired up and ready for like.. a month.. lmao I had the entire thing hanging on my door and one day I was like "alright I'm gonna do this" lol. I'd make an install video but I really don't wanna take everything out to start over. I actually have a video of me explaining how I have it wired and whatnot but it sucks, and I haven't uploaded it. I'll make a new one soon and will be sure to link you (and the rest of DA) to it.
Man I'm impressed, I looked up the installation instructions for the OEM kit and it was like 43 steps....I decided too much for me.

Got them put in tonight! I'll snap a pic tomorrow. Very easy install, though I'll have to go back and tuck the wires in a bit tighter and get the lights taped into place. The mounting tape I bought wouldn't stick to anything, so I just sorta placed the passenger side one all the way to the firewall side and the driver side one I had to put up into the panel assembly which really hampers the light. Wasn't much to tape to on that side anyway. May have to cable tie that one.

For anyone interested I just ordered and installed this kit yesterday in about 30 minutes and am very pleased with the results.

I must say, it is very well built kit. High quality and only 40 bucks.. It comes with everything you need to wire it to anywhere you please (fuse box, battery, cigarette lighter, etc.) and great instructions on how to do so. It also comes with several mounting options for the receiver and lights, including double sided tape, brackets and zip ties. To be honest the hardest part was routing the wiring so that it was inconspicuous and a clean install. It was also difficult to find a location to mount the rear lights. I ended up deciding on the AC vent for the passenger side and the horizontal support bar for the driver's side. I then routed all of the cabling up under the center console plastics.

This was a very easy install and was even completed in the dead of night with nothing more than my phone flash light.

Here is the video to the post-install results. If anyone has any questions about the results or install feel free to ask!

FYI - the video does not do the lights justice. They are much brighter in person. Almost too bright. The IR remote gives you the option to reduce the brightness and also change to nearly any color you wish, including white, or color cycle.

i personally use superbrightleds.com and then wire them myself. then i use an add a fuse for power. usually about a $15-20 job + labor :)

Here's my home made foot well lighting set up. The white lights come on any time the door opens or when the engine is turned off. The blue lights are on whenever the parking lights are on. The blue is actually quite subtle but looks brighter in this picture.

@TomFromMo Niceeeeeeeeeee! that's exactly what I wanted to do; tap into another circuit so the door or cutting the engine would trigger the lights.... but it was way too much for me to figure out at the time so I just scratched all of that and decided to go full manual. Haha. Yours looks great though!!!

I got a set of these for Christmas, lucky me, :smile

In your vid, I didn't notice the lights coming on white if you opened your door. Did you use the extra wire for that, and if you did, what did you connect to so that the LED's will come on white when the doors open?

Added picture of connection point on fuse panel for white LEDs.
