Do you guys use springs or coil overs, to lower car? I’m looking to get my car lowered at least for the fender to cover up that gap.
how many inches did it drop?I used lower springs H&R Sport Kit on my Touring model. I love the ride quality (feels better and sportier for me). The only thing is looking for spacers for OEM rims. They don't work if you don't mod the studs. Still looking for one 20mm that doesn't need to do anything to the studs and to look flush.
1.2 front and backhow many inches did it drop?
Bags are for groceries 😆Nah brah, bags is where it's at.
Thanks for replying; thank you for the advice.I'd go with coilovers for sure. Gives you whatever option/look you want for a drop and have it looked balanced out front to back. Another thing to keep in mind is if you putting lower springs on the stock struts at some point the struts are going to blow out. I did that originally on my old Accord seeing as the Koni struts for the car were not released & within a yr of the H&R springs on the stock struts the fronts blew out. Plus going with springs only you are stuck with what you get & you dont even know what the look will be seeing as the springs need time to settle after install. And most spring sets are a different drop from front to back & from what I've seen the back end up lower then the front and it makes the car look like its sagging in the back.
Going with coilovers you get the drop you want so it looks good. The springs are matched to the struts so you dont have to worry about they getting blown out putting lowering springs on stock shock they were not designed for the lowering springs. I know the coilovers are more up front but if anything happens like it did to me with the springs on stock struts blowing it ended up costing more having to have it redone & then all realigned again as well
