So I’ve always liked the look of subtle rear diffuser “strakes” on stock vehicles. (I’m not talking about racecar diffusers) I just like the teeth look of it. I saw that our rears are pretty much just flat and after reading the Road and Track 9.5 gen article calling our 9th gens dull, I decided to see how I can help make it stand out better but in a subtle way. >)... I call it the EZ-Lips cousin... They are just cheap Evo MR style vortex generators from fleabay mounted under the rear with 3M tape. Cheap, easily removable/reconfigured, simple enough for anyone to do... I'm not completely in love with it, but thought some people might like the idea.

I don't dislike it but it doesn't do much for me. Not something I'm looking to run out and buy for my car.
Thanks for the feedback. Cheers!

That looks pretty cool
not too ricey!
Thanks! Just trying to be innovative with budget mods. At certain angles I really like it, but I think my minor gripe is that they are a little too thin looking. Maybe something more trapezoidal in shape.

I like it. Subtle and adds a slight flare of aggression to the vehicle. I particularly like it on yours, as your car looks sporty. It may not look as at home on my dead-stock touring model.

Aside - are those stock 8th-gen EX-V6 coupe rims you have on your car? I like the way they look.

i agree with the second poster...

its nice but doesnt really do anything for me....

if i had extra money laying around i would get it

Yeah just wanted a sportier look.
Wheels are just stock EX. They do look similar to the 8th gen EX V6 coupe wheels tho.

Not any more rice than the black roof or black deck-lid spoiler. Honestly, like others said, it doesn't do anything for me, but it's really not obnoxious. I think you should spend a little on a mild tint before any more on other mods. Also some wheels with a lower offset to bring them out. But, it's your car, time and money. Do what you want and keep sharing.

I don't find the black roofs rice at all. Maybe black/cf hood or trunks for sure but the gloss black roof looks real slick to me especially with the ***. My dealer actually offers it as an option for the *** accords because it looks so much better.

Yeah wheels and spacers are in the future. Waiting for stock tires to wear a little more but they won't wear out! Can't complain...
No tint for me. Can't stand the inconsistency if I can't tint the front due to tint laws. Thx for the input though. All in all this was just a personal touch "bored on a budget" mod that I just wanted to try out. Now that I've had some time to critique it, I'm still liking the look at an angle view, but looking directly dead center over it or behind it, the vortex generators just look a little too thin and flimsy. Like bad stubble LOL. Going to search for some pieces that are more substantial.

+1 One of my favorite mods.

Decided to ditch the vortex generators and go with something a little more substantial, less flimsy looking, but a little less subtle...

Like it a lot better and just as cheap to DIY. More info to come.
Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!

kinda interested to try this on my 6+6 coupe, can you provide some links to the product?!

Most definitely. I'll start a new thread once I get some more good pics since it's no longer related to the vortex generators.

Agreed, this time around you may have caught my attention :p This looks a little more substantial and the flared points where it attaches makes it look a lot more OEM.
Yeah my concern was going overboard with it, but I think it came out very nice.

The diffuser looks really good! But, I sorry to say the carbon fiber wrap looks, well, cheezy. I think the chrome adds a bit of sophistication but not everyone likes that look.
Thanks! I still like chrome =) That's why I kept the emblem chrome and the side door handles chrome and the main front grill chrome =) I'm just a little bit less sophisticated I guess...

Deja Vu... wait post edit! Cheers to your tea.

Glitch in the matrix...

Is it more grounded to the ground now?

You know, like a Camry?
yeah. more grounded like a NASCAR camry =P

I like it!
Thanks!
