The MT is a few hundred pounds lighter...so be sure to even that out as well. Add weight to the MT car for proper testing of the engine/transmission capability compared to AT
2008 Accord V6 coupe with AT and no Navi is 3569 lbs.
2008 Accord V6 coupe with MT and no Navi is 3446 lbs.
That's a difference of 123 lbs, not a few hundred. To me, a few hundred means 300+.

I don't think anyone has done a back-to-back instrumented test of the AT vs MT. A quick search doesn't turn up anything for the 8th gen.

I did find something for the 9th gen though. I don't know where they're getting their numbers from, but https://www.zeroto60times.com/vehicle-make/honda-0-60-mph-times has the

2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe (Manual) doing 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds and Quarter mile in 13.9 seconds, and
2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe (Automatic) doing 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds and Quarter mile in 14.1 seconds.

2013 Accord V6 coupe with MT is 3397 lbs and 2013 Accord V6 coupe with AT is 3528 lbs. That's a difference of 131 lbs.

If you factor in the 131 lb difference, I'd call it a tie? 🤷‍♂️

You know more than me, or you did the research unlike I on this one. Because I remembered wrong, I was thinking it was at least 200+ lb difference.

EDIT: I think I was mistakenly referencing the i4 vs V6 weight difference...that is 300+ pounds difference between the engines. Your link to Honda's site confirms that.
