I installed Hawk Performance Ceramics 2 weeks ago and it has been the best upgrade I have ever done. There is no more shudder in the wheel under hard braking, and the car stops so incredibly hard I feel like my teeth will go through the windshield.

This upgrade solved all of my braking problems.... Highly recommend!!!!

any tsb for strange somewhat hard shifting at low speeds? I just got the car, but when I'm looking for a spot in the parking garage it seems to clunk those gear changes (unless thats the TC locking up? my old civic had the same issues) The car is also fully warmed up at this point.

so 1st and 2nd is hard to shift, i know my civic shifts hard when cold but not when hot. You could try changing your tranny fluid, could also try a synthetic or semi synthetic blend. I am only aware of the 3rd gear pop out tsb. also check on clutch fluid level just to be safe. I have read that hondas get a tad harder to shift if your tran fluid isn't changed out at about 10 to 15k apart from that I haven't seen anything so far. sorry not very helpful i know

its sort of the same surge that you get when its cold with light to medium throttle, but I get this when the car is fully warmed up and you're applying very light throttle. Best way to picture is looking for a spot in a garage going from 5-20 and back down, or in stop and go...its sort of like the car shifts 1-2 then the 2-3 either clunks or the TC is locking up or something. I'm just trying to gauge if this is a normal thing or not. I have about 13-14k on the car right now.

This site has made me aware of a frighteningly large amount of TSBs..which I am both thankful and sort of sad about. One thing that still sort of bothers me is the eco/vcm system. I actually don't mind the operation of it..but I hate that the light will flash on and off when commuting to work in traffic, somewhat distracting really.

well i feel stupid. sorry i thought you had a manual for the auto there is a separate hard shift/ slow shift. this is the closest thing that comes close to your description.
otherwise it could be the vcm causing the clunk when it fires up the cylinders then turns them off.

there's quite a few people who lament the passing of the 6MT sedan..heh well I've actually noticed this before too..I thought I was just shifting to D too fast (after reversing). I need to check my VIN to see if this applies.

Do you know if the dealers will remove the extra glass in front of the Nav that was changed for 09+?

awesome job but i recommend you bolding certain words in the post and also separate them in different sections like, interior, exterior, engine, suspension, aftermarket, custom, DIY, TSB, etc.

that would make it easier to find something i think, thats just a suggestion
